Until Ailsa Where’s my backpack? proposed light as this week’s theme I had utterly no idea how taken I am with the things, or more precisely, the shade that surrounds. It has therefore been all too easy to pull a cornucopia of lightness from my photographic vaults.

What a collection of fascinating lights. I like your new theme too (the new twenty thirteen) and your layout. 🙂
well thank you particularly since the time sucker has taken my whole afternoon doing it. I just couldn’t resist. And as far as the lights, perhaps I could become a designer since I appear to have a soft spot for them.
Time for a glass of wine, me thinks.
Cheers!! Yes, it takes a long time to change a theme, but it’s fun and rewarding. And your new one does really look great! 🙂
LOVE this. Especially the one of the multi-colored lanterns. I don’t know that I’ve ever taken a picture of a light fixture; I admire your eye!
I worry that I take so many. They are a French Company that my girlfriends and I found in Barcelona. Reasonably priced and wonderful hung.
Great theme…was thinking of it myself really – but I am too …well I WILL have a new theme – soon. Your lights are a fabulous gallery.
I only saw it today and had to go for it. I have also bought the customisation because colours are so central to it. Thanks about the lights. Always knew they would come in handy.
This sheds a new light on your passions. Maybe your new hobby could be designing lights. I love your new appearance too – very eyecatching and modern.
I am thrilled with it and can now fiddle to my heart’s content. I would love to design lights but fear others may be more qualified.
Maybe you should have a go. You never know…
Thank you for your faith. Perhaps I should request JB’s opinion.
Well you know he is always very positive about things, excepting birds, and he says go for it mrsc. He suggests that you could design a light with a beaverish theme, perhaps with a button you could press that would make the light yodel, just like the one on his tummy. You could call it the “Yodelightful”
😀 😀 😀
Great ‘light’ pics here 😉 I just love those colored balls! 😀
they are brilliant. My friend bought 3 for her hallway (mail-order) they look amazing.
Nice lights! Nice theme 🙂
Sweet
Thank you, Sweet and good morning. I am thrilled with the theme.
oh and Sweet don’t open email from me called HI or HEY – hacked!
Yes, I thought they looked dodgy so just deleted them! 😉
Isn’t it interesting how some of the challenges reveal what you’ve always been interested in and didn’t know it? These are wonderful shots of wonderful objects — which I would have passed up if not lent your eyes.
Except for the bubblicious one, that I would have spotted on my own!
‘bubblicious’, what a wonderful word! I guess I’ve always been drawn to ceiling fittings 🙂
Please let me know if you’re looking for a article writer for your blog. You have some really great posts and I believe I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really like to write
some material for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine.
Please send me an email if interested. Many thanks!
Konie, thanks but you appear to write in a language few of my followers could understand 🙂
