Weekly Photo Challenge (Lost In the Details)

Because I’m off to my homeland on Tuesday (cannot wait) and Loughborough this weekend to watch Daughter #2’s uni dance group compete (they got a silver last time!!!!) I am popping my entry in early doors.

love this theme and immediately thought of ‘Where’s Wally?’ with my girls hunting through tiny detailed drawings hunting for a silly looking man (Wally) in a silly bobble hat and silly scarf lost in a crowd. From that I segue into this……..

………..The Nikau Palm is the only palm species endemic to my country and although I’ve seen plenty potted never have I spotted a veritable wall of Nikau’s previous to my mini road trip up the West Coast of the South Island.

Here then, wide angle and close up.

And a shiny discard……………

    1. Thank you Dianne. I was all by myself on the bush walk and suddenly realise it was all getting a little bit Jurassic Park to be all alone and retraced my steps carefully.

    1. Thanks so much – exhausting highs and lows but her group places for the contemporary dance which she choreographed so eventually a great result -phew.
now stressing abut packing – hair -nals – waxing (no vjazzletho) 🙂
